ApplyMAX ("we," "our," "us") provides an AI-powered job application copilot. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account data - name, email, and authentication provider details.
- Resume & profile data - content you upload or paste (work history, skills, education).
- Application data - job descriptions, match reports, generated resumes, and cover letters.
- Billing data - subscription status and identifiers from our payment processor (Whop). We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data - device, browser, IP, and interaction logs used for security and product improvement.
3. How we use your data
- Provide, personalize, and improve the service.
- Generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and match reports using AI models.
- Process subscription payments and manage your plan.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms.
4. AI processing
Your resume and job descriptions are sent to third-party AI providers to generate tailored outputs. We do not sell your data or use it to train foundation models.
5. Data sharing
We share data only with vetted service providers required to operate ApplyMAX: cloud hosting, database, authentication, AI inference, and payment processing (Whop). We do not sell personal data.
6. Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; associated resumes and applications are removed within 30 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@applymax.app to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, and audited infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
ApplyMAX is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
